He's so amazing with the kids he's also mellow and a Virgo of course." The first time I met him, I was most certainly intrigued by his masculinity. "I love Guy's confidence and his director's charm.I thought he got into a fight or something when we started dating." (About her hubby, Guy) "The scar on his face is one of my favorite things about him."Well, he sometimes wears a kilt." (Said jokily when asked who wears the pants in her relationship with Guy)."He actually knows a guy who fed people to pigs! Go on, tell how you got this scar." (About her husband, Guy Ritchie)."It only took me 40 years to get it right." (Talking about her husband, Guy Ritchie)."Have I ever been totally and completely intimidated by another person? Yes - my husband's mother.".I don't agree with a lot of his values, but he did have a lot of integrity, and if he told us not to do something, he didn't do it either." I don't agree with a lot of the ways he brought me up. Either Guy or I am always with them at dinner, and we spend evenings together". I spend time with my son before he goes off to his daycare. "I think it's important for children to stay in one place, to socialize with other children.".I surround myself with people who don't treat me like a celebrity or a freak or whatever, and I would do the same with my child." "I could probably bring up a child as normal as I can live my life.I want her to have manners and social graces." I want her to appreciate things, and not to be presumptuous. I don't want Lola to have everything she wants. We could definitely go down the wrong road. "The last thing I want is to raise a brat.Anyone who went there would want to bring one of those children home and give them a chance to have a future and better life." (About the adoption of her son, David) I beg them to go to Africa and see what I saw. The media is doing a great disservice to all the orphans in Africa by turning it into a negative thing. "I understand that gossip sells papers, but I am dissapointed because it discourages others from doing the same thing. It's not what I expected it to be, but nothing ever is." I think parents should be constantly questioning society." I never wanted to think in a robotic way, and I don't want my children to think that way, either. "Obviously, my tastes and my priorities have changed, Just because I'm a mother doesn't mean I'm not still a rebel and that I don't want to go in the face of convention and challenge the system.

The Bible says, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Make sure of your commitment to Jesus Christ-and then joyfully but reverently come into His presence as you pray. When we pray, do we realize we are approaching the Creator and Lord of the Universe? Or do we treat our prayers casually, as if we were simply talking to a neighbor? And do we realize the great privilege God has given us by allowing us to come into His presence-a privilege that cost God His only Son?ĭon’t misunderstand me, however our physical position is important in prayer, because it reflects our attitude toward God and can help us focus on Him. The important thing in prayer isn’t our physical position, but the attitude of our hearts. On the other hand, when Abraham prayed that God would spare the city of Sodom (in spite of their sin), he “remained standing before the Lord” (Genesis 18:22). When King David confessed his sins and prayed fervently that God would spare the life of one of his sons, “He fasted and spent the nights lying in sackcloth on the ground” (2 Samuel 12:16).

The Bible, in fact, gives many examples of people who prayed in a number of physical positions. It doesn’t say (for example) that we must always pray on our knees, or with our hands raised, or even with our eyes closed. No, the Bible doesn’t command us to take any one position when we pray.
